Prof. Abdulrahman A. Aljumah is currently Dean of the College of Medicine and Full Professor of Medicine at Dar Al Uloom University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Previously, he was a consultant hepatologist and gastroenterologist at King Abdulaziz Medical City and a professor at the College of Medicine at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He graduated from Cairo University, Egypt, and received his diploma in internal medicine from the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, University of London, United Kingdom. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCP), Dublin, Ireland and the Arab Board in Internal Medicine (ABIM). He completed his clinical fellowship training in gastroenterology, hepatology, and liver transplantation at the Toronto Hospital, University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada, and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCP) in Dublin, Ireland. He also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK. Prof. Aljumah is a member of several scientific associations and a founding member of the Saudi Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and Transplantation. He served as Associate Editor of the Saudi Journal of Gastroenterology. He has more than 80 publications in various peer-reviewed journals and is a speaker at various local and international conferences. During his professional and academic career, Prof. Aljumah has held several administrative positions.
