Prof.AlHamoudi is a distinguished Professor of Medicine and Consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist at King Saud University, Riyadh. He is also a Consultant Transplant Hepatologist at the Liver and Small Bowel Health Centre at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Riyadh. He has been appointed Deputy Director and member of the Directive Board for the Liver Disease Research Centre at King Saud University. He is an active member of the Saudi Society for Organ Transplantation and a regular examiner for the Saudi Board of Internal Medicine. Prof AlHamoud is a prolific author and has served on several editorial boards including the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatobiliary Disorders, Clinical and Molecular Hepatology, SM Journal of Case Reports, Austin Journal of Gastroenterology and World Journal of Hepatology. He has published over a hundred papers and abstracts. He has served on various committees and organisations within and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
