Consultant Gastroenterologist and Transplant Hepatologist

Dr.Faisal M. Sanai, Head of Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Jeddah, KSA. He has been the advisor to the MOH Committee for the Prevention of Viral Hepatitis since 2008. Dr Sanai has the unique distinction of serving on the Board of Directors of the Saudi Gastroenterology Association (SGA) and the Saudi Society for the Study of Liver Disease and Transplantation (SASLT), as well as the Liver International and World Journal of Gastroenterology. He was a clinical assistant professor at King Saud University (KSU) in Riyadh. He was an active Associate Editor/Editor-in-Chief of the Saudi Journal of Gastroenterology before assuming the position of Editor-in-Chief of the SASLT Newsletter. He has more than 20 years of clinical experience with more than 130 publications in the field of liver disease and transplantation.
