Prof. Ibrahim Hammad Al Traif

Consultant Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist

Formerly Head of the Department of Hepatology Sciences and Organ Transplant Centre King Abdulaziz Medical City, King Fahad National Guard Hospital. Prof Al Traif is a faculty member of the College of Medicine at King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, King Abdul Aziz Medical City. He is also a teacher and examiner for the Saudi GI Fellowship Programme. With more than 2 decades of clinical experience, he has been invited to speak at several local and international scientific conferences. He has authored and published several publications in the field of liver disease and transplantation. He founded the first liver transplant programme in the Middle East in 1994.
